About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide guidance to condition management members to help make positive lifestyle changes and improve respiratory health
- Collaborate with other health professionals to improve member health
- Instruct members on inhalers, breathing techniques, BiPAPs, peak flow meters, and prevention techniques
- Coach members through positive health changes using specialized education focused on Asthma and COPD
- Complete required in-person training sessions and essential face-to-face onboarding and skill development
Requirements
What you’ll need- AS in Respiratory Therapy
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience as a respiratory therapist
- Current Respiratory Care Professional license required
- NBRC credentialing required
- American Association of Respiratory Care registration required
- BA/BS preferred
- Telephonic experience strongly preferred
- Experience with DME strongly preferred
- Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance from the posting location(s), unless accommodation is granted as required by law
- New candidates in certain patient/member-facing roles must become vaccinated against COVID-19 and Influenza, unless an acceptable explanation is provided
