About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide enterprise security solutions addressing business, regulatory, and legal requirements
  • Assure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
  • Execute and process mainframe security and access management requests
  • Manage privileged, service, shared, emergency, and non-person user accounts
  • Create, update, and maintain supporting and procedural documentation
  • Support Identity and Access Management activities
  • Complete implementation tasks for systems and network security technologies
  • Execute testing plans
  • Coordinate and prepare data security event and incident reporting
  • Provide system and network architecture support
  • Provide technical support to business and technology associates
  • Resolve complex issues
  • Perform system and network upgrade tasks
  • Design and analyze vendor services and information security requirements
  • Maintain relationships with key vendors
  • Complete lights-on initiatives for equipment consolidation and business relocations
  • Perform complex configuration changes
  • Perform capacity analysis and recommend and implement capacity increases
  • Respond to Level 3 and 4 change and problem requests
  • Lead Level 1 and 2 incident recoveries and root cause analysis

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field of study
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a support and operations or design and engineering role, or any combination of education and experience providing an equivalent background
  • Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of a posting location unless accommodation is granted as required by law
  • Foreign national applicants must have lived in the United States for at least three of the past five years
  • Experience with RACF and similar mainframe user identity management strongly preferred
  • Experience in government, healthcare, or similar highly regulated environments preferred
  • Knowledge or hands-on experience with Medicare claims processing systems, including FISS or MCS, and CMS identity management processes and systems highly desired
  • Experience using IT service management and governance platforms such as ServiceNow, Jira, or comparable request, approval, and ticketing systems preferred
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail preferred
  • Ability to interpret access control policies, system authorization boundaries, and technical security requirements preferred
  • Knowledge of IAM principles for on-premise and cloud services, including AWS/Azure, strongly preferred
  • Experience administering directory and identity platforms such as Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft EntraID, LDAP, Okta, SailPoint, or comparable technologies preferred
  • Working knowledge of security implementation frameworks such as NIST, ISO, HIPAA, and FedRAMP, Zero Trust principles, and similar risk management preferred
