About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop agentic AI engineering technology
Use AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Codex-style agents, or similar
Evaluate models and measure quality
Maintain customer relationships to determine business requirements
Lead requirements-gathering meetings and review designs with the business
Own the change request process and coordinate with other teams
Develop and own the list of final enhancements
Define application scope and objectives
Supervise preparation of technical and/or functional specifications
Perform technical design reviews and code reviews
Coordinate and manage on-call support
Own the system monitoring process
Own the technical development environment and work on the Enterprise team
Lead multiple or large projects
Facilitate large-group JAD sessions for requirements and modeling across several disciplines
Lead vendor evaluation and analysis
Ship, evaluate, secure, and support production systems

Requirements

What you’ll need

BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and minimum of 7 years multi platform and/or business and technical applications; or any combination of education and experience providing an equivalent background
Must be within a reasonable commuting distance from a posting location unless an accommodation is granted
Not eligible for current or future visa sponsorship
Experience with healthcare, payer, claims, clinical, HIPAA, PHI, regulated industry, or enterprise security
Strong software engineering fundamentals including cloud-native development, APIs and microservices, CI/CD, automated testing, and secure SDLC
Experience building or integrating AI agents, tool/function calling, RAG, memory, model routing, evaluations, guardrails, observability, and secure API/tool access
Experience with Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, including AgentCore Runtime, Memory, Identity, Gateway, Code Interpreter, Browser Tool, Observability, Evaluations, and Policy
Experience building LLM or SLM applications
Ability to review, test, and harden AI-generated code
Production support experience
