About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Undertake complex assignments requiring additional specialized technical knowledge
Develop very complex and varied strategic report applications from a Data Warehouse
Establish and communicate common goals and direction for the team
Establish and maintain advanced knowledge of data warehouse database design, data definitions, system capabilities, and data integrity issues
Act as a source of direction, training, and guidance for less experienced staff
Monitor project schedules and costs for own and other projects
Develop and support very complex Data Warehouse-related applications for business areas requiring design and implementation of database tables
Conduct training on use of applications developed
Think about programming and how it can be used to design solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Requires a BS/BA degree; minimum of 6 years' experience; or any combination of education and experience providing an equivalent background
Experience with Snowflake highly preferred
Experience in any Cloud Environment highly preferred
SQL Query Experience highly preferred
Expert level PC, spreadsheet, and database skills preferred
Experience in standard Business Information tools and programming/query languages strongly preferred
Ability to communicate effectively with multiple levels within the organization strongly preferred
Must be within a reasonable commuting distance of a posting location unless an accommodation is granted
Associates are required to work at an Elevance Health location at least once per week, and potentially several times per week
