Follow established guidelines and contact groups to collect past due insurance premiums and/or health insurance claims
Research the validity of past due and/or disputed debt
Generate demand letters
Prepare reports reflecting credit and collection activity status for management review
Work in a hybrid arrangement, attending an office 1–2 days per week

Requirements

What you’ll need

H.S. diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years of commercial debt collection experience
Any combination of education and experience providing an equivalent background
Ability to perform complex collection activities related to past due health insurance premiums and/or claims
Ability to work within reasonable commuting distance from a posting location unless an accommodation is granted
Candidates in certain patient/member-facing roles must become vaccinated against COVID-19 and Influenza, unless an acceptable explanation is provided
