About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as a member of the Agile leadership team
- Serve as the functional and/or client/business representative for projects within a market focus
- Act as customer proxy and liaison between the business and Scrum Teams
- Translate features into complex user stories and manage, rank, and prioritize the team backlog
- Perform final testing and acceptance of user stories
- Communicate stakeholder needs, contractual requirements, acceptance criteria, quality, and performance expectations to the team
- Collaborate with teams to discover and deliver solutions to market problems presented by the Product Manager
- Coordinate, rank, and prioritize business needs and plan solutions that deliver business value
- Manage solution concept development to ensure the product team understands direction and vision
- Create and maintain the project backlog throughout the project lifecycle
- Translate the product backlog into user stories and define acceptance criteria
- Represent stakeholders as the Product Management business proxy and decision point
- Review and accept or reject results during Sprints and Sprint reviews
- Attend Sprint meetings and provide clarification and acceptance of user stories
- Create or contribute to project release plans
- Present Team Backlog work during Sprint Planning, negotiate Sprint scope, and define Sprint goals
Requirements
What you’ll need- BA/BS and minimum of 5 years of experience with writing business/functional requirements and implementing Agile methodologies, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience writing business/functional requirements
- Experience implementing Agile methodologies
- Leading SAFe (SA) certification strongly preferred
- Pragmatic certification preferred
- Candidates must be within a reasonable commuting distance from the posting location(s), unless an accommodation is granted as required by law
