About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide centralized oversight of delivery health.
Lead program governance, audit coordination, and proactive risk tracking to ensure execution transparency, compliance, and control.
Provide strategic planning analysis to ELT concerning staffing needs based on program projections.
Provide strategic direction for developing enterprise project plans specifying goals, strategy, staffing, scheduling, risks, contingency plans, and resource allocation.
Provide expert knowledge of project management methodologies, approaches, techniques, and tools to senior management.
Direct system analysts, software designers, and programmers to determine methods for achieving project objectives.
Coach and mentor project team members.
Mentor other project managers on project management methodology.
Determine project scope.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 15 years of enterprise project management experience in broad-based information systems managing increasing project size and complexity that are transformational in nature for the organization, full life-cycle application development and/or building enterprise applications; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Experience in program/project management, delivery management, PMO, or program governance roles is preferred.
Experience in an effective team environment, building strong relationships, negotiation, solving problems and issues, resolving conflicts, managing resources in a matrix environment, communicating and influencing effectively at all levels of an organization is required.
Data warehouse planning and development experience is preferred.
Experience in coaching and mentoring project team members is strongly preferred.
Experience using portfolio management applications and Rational tools is strongly preferred.
Excellent communication and executive stakeholder management skills, including presenting risks/issues and facilitating decisions, is preferred.
Project management certification (PMP) is strongly preferred.
Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance from a posting location unless an accommodation is granted as required by law.
Associates must work in-office 3 days per week.
