About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Respond promptly to new client inquiries by phone, email, and text
- Create a warm, welcoming experience from the first interaction
- Discuss prospective clients’ therapy needs
- Match clients with therapists based on needs, preferences, schedule, location, and insurance
- Explain therapist options and help clients choose a provider
- Schedule initial appointments and guide clients through the intake process
- Collect demographic and insurance information
- Verify insurance benefits using online portals and direct calls to insurance providers
- Follow up with prospective clients who have not scheduled
- Answer questions about Elevate, therapists, services, insurance, and locations
- Maintain accurate information in scheduling and practice-management systems
- Work with administrative and clinical teams regarding therapist availability
- Help improve the client intake experience
Requirements
What you’ll need- Warm, upbeat, outgoing, organized, and genuinely enjoys talking with people
- Cheerful and personable, bringing warmth and positive energy to conversations
- Outgoing and comfortable interacting with people and picking up the phone
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Responsive and fast-moving when responding to prospective clients
- Good listener who can guide people toward the right next step
- Comfortable making recommendations and helping people make decisions
- Organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple inquiries, schedules, follow-ups, and administrative details
- Proactive in following up and identifying process problems
- Professional and discreet, with an understanding of confidentiality and sensitivity when working with people seeking mental health services
- Comfortable learning scheduling, email, phone, and practice-management systems
