About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy
- Complete clinical documentation within 24–48 hours of services
- Determine realistic psychotherapy goals with clients
- Participate in supervision toward licensure
- Assess patient needs and devise and implement treatment
- Provide parent, staff, and caregiver training
- Coordinate services with other professionals
- Conduct initial psycho-diagnostic assessments
- Develop and implement collaborative treatment plans
- Perform ongoing clinical assessments of progress, treatment effectiveness, barriers, and recommendations
- Conduct crisis assessments and provide interventions
- Prepare and present progress reports in multidisciplinary team settings
- Provide care coordination and integrated behavioral-health/medical care
- Attend staff and program meetings, conferences, and training
- Participate in special projects as needed
- Maintain confidential clinical case information and HIPAA-compliant records
- Support male youth and adult mental-health needs, including emotional expression, social development, and behavioral concerns
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of a Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or related mental health field
- Master’s level degree from an accredited college or university
- License to practice in the State of Illinois or Indiana (LMFT, LPC, LSW, LCPC, LCSW) or licensure eligible
- License-eligible individuals must apply for licensure within 60 days of becoming eligible according to state guidelines
- Thorough understanding of practices, theories, and policies involved in clinical practice and business operations
- Effective communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Ability to interact effectively with internal and external customers
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to provide appropriate in-office and telehealth services
- Ability to establish and maintain positive work relationships
- Minimum availability of 30 hours in the schedule for therapy services
