About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy
  • Complete clinical documentation within 24–48 hours of services
  • Establish realistic psychotherapy goals with clients
  • Participate in supervision toward licensure
  • Conduct initial psycho-diagnostic assessments
  • Develop and implement collaborative treatment plans
  • Perform ongoing clinical assessments of progress, treatment effectiveness, barriers, and recommendations
  • Conduct crisis assessments and provide appropriate interventions
  • Train parents, staff, and caregivers
  • Coordinate services with other professionals
  • Prepare and present client progress reports in multidisciplinary team settings
  • Provide care and care coordination to achieve optimal health outcomes
  • Integrate behavioral-health and medical care while complying with applicable regulations
  • Attend staff meetings, conferences, and training
  • Maintain confidential clinical records in compliance with HIPAA
  • Support leadership with special projects and perform other assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of a Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or related mental health field
  • Master’s level degree from an accredited college or university
  • License to practice in Illinois or Indiana (LMFT, LPC, LSW, LCPC, LCSW) or licensure eligible
  • License-eligible individuals must apply for licensure within 60 days of becoming eligible
  • Experience supporting male youth and adult mental-health needs, including emotional expression, social development, and behavioral concerns
  • Effective communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
  • Thorough understanding of clinical-practice and business-operation practices, theories, and policies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to provide appropriate in-office and telehealth services
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive work relationships
  • Ability to identify at least 30 hours in the schedule for therapy services
