About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own IRL features from discovery through production-ready design
- Understand how store associates, managers, and admin users work within Endear
- Run research from early discovery through usability testing
- Design complete, accessible product experiences, including loading, empty, error, permission, and other key states
- Partner closely with Product and Engineering to shape solutions early
- Use customer insight and data to inform design decisions and iteration
- Build deeper ownership across the IRL product
- Deliver experiences improving retail teams’ clienteling and in-store workflows
- Establish a rhythm of discovery, testing, and continuous learning
- Demonstrate clear user and business impact through shipped work
- Collaborate with the Head of Product Design on vision and direction
- Work with a Product Manager and 2–3 Engineers
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2–5 years working in product design
- Independently owning features from discovery through implementation, with support on vision and direction
- Running user research from discovery through usability testing
- Translating broad or ambiguous problems into clear product solutions
- Working closely with Design, Product, and Engineering teams
- Designing complex, accessible workflows and accounting for loading, empty, error, and permission states
- Using qualitative and quantitative data to inform design decisions
- Building within established design patterns while knowing when something needs to evolve
- Using AI tools as part of your workflow and applying judgment to AI-generated output
- A portfolio demonstrating strong product thinking and execution, with ability to articulate work impact and data where available
- Availability for the all-team standup every Monday at 8:00 AM Pacific
- Must be US-based
- No retail or e-commerce background required
