About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work alongside experienced carpenters and foremen while gaining hands-on experience
- Install retail fixtures, displays, décor packages, and millwork
- Install wall panels, trim, doors, hardware, and accessories
- Assist with framing, drywall, rough carpentry, and interior finishes
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install construction materials
- Load, unload, and organize materials and tools
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Learn to read plans, layouts, and project drawings
- Safely operate hand tools and power tools
- Support project teams in active retail environments
- Work on nationally recognized retail construction projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1+ years of construction, carpentry, or related trade experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools
- Willingness to learn carpentry and construction methods
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Dependable and punctual
- Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to travel to project locations and stay up to 2 weeks at a time, as project schedules require
- Commitment to jobsite safety and quality workmanship
