About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and implement SAP ABAP solutions using modern ABAP 7.4+ coding standards
- Work extensively on S/4HANA ABAP development and OData services
- Design, develop, and implement OData services using SAP NetWeaver Gateway
- Understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions and specifications
- Prepare Technical Design Documents (TDD) and Unit Test documents
- Develop Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows
- Work on ALV/Classical Reports, BAPI, ALE/IDOC, BADI, User Exits, Enhancement Spots, LSMW/BDC
- Participate in implementation, integration testing, unit testing, and production support activities
- Troubleshoot incidents and ensure adherence to SLAs and ITIL processes
- Interact regularly with onsite teams and clients and provide project status updates
- Review deliverables and ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with project standards
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge-sharing and COE activities
- Identify risks, manage escalations, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Lead technical discussions and work directly with clients when required
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 6 years of SAP ABAP experience with multiple implementation/support projects
- Strong hands-on experience in S/4HANA and OData
- Strong knowledge of ABAP 7.4+ and Object-Oriented ABAP
- Good experience with SAP NetWeaver Gateway and OData service creation/implementation
- Hands-on experience with Forms, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Workflows
- At least one SAP implementation experience is mandatory
- Good communication, analytical, problem-solving, and client-facing skills
- Experience working with onsite/client teams and leading technical workstreams
