About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, test, and deploy MuleSoft APIs and integration solutions
- Develop and maintain REST and SOAP APIs and application integrations using MuleSoft
- Create integration designs connecting enterprise applications, services, databases, and external systems
- Work extensively with Anypoint Platform, Anypoint Studio, Mule Runtime, and API Manager
- Develop reusable integration components and APIs following API-led connectivity principles
- Implement data transformations and mappings using DataWeave
- Configure error handling, logging, security, monitoring, and exception management
- Troubleshoot integration issues and perform root-cause analysis and performance optimization
- Participate in solution design, technical reviews, code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support
- Collaborate with architects, application teams, business stakeholders, and other integration teams
- Ensure solutions follow development standards, security guidelines, and integration best practices
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior development resources where required
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong hands-on experience in MuleSoft development and enterprise application integration
- Experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and Anypoint Studio
- Strong experience developing and integrating REST and SOAP APIs
- Hands-on experience with DataWeave, RAML, JSON, XML, and API specifications
- Good understanding of API-led connectivity and integration architecture patterns
- Experience integrating applications using HTTP/S, databases, messaging, and enterprise connectors
- Knowledge of API security, authentication, authorization, and access-management concepts
- Experience with CI/CD, version control, deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills
- MuleSoft Developer or Integration Architect certification is preferred
- Experience working on large-scale enterprise integration programs
- Exposure to cloud platforms and modern DevOps practices would be an advantage
