About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide high-quality, evidence-based therapy to children and adolescents
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Build toward and maintain approximately 25 completed sessions per week for full-time status
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, schools, and referral partners when clinically appropriate
  • Participate in team meetings, consultation, and professional development
  • Optionally provide clinical supervision if qualified
  • Develop professional relationships and deliver an excellent experience for children and families
  • Build and retain a successful caseload with provided marketing and administrative support

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master’s or doctoral degree in a behavioral health field
  • Active Illinois license: LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, PsyD, LPC, LSW, or ALMFT
  • Experience or specialized training with children and adolescents
  • Experience providing therapy to children and adolescents
  • Comfortable working with elementary-age children
  • Ability to engage parents and caregivers appropriately in treatment
  • Experience with assessment, treatment planning, and documentation
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to ethical, compassionate, and dependable care
  • Willingness to participate in caseload development
  • Ability to complete required background screening
  • Creative, developmentally appropriate clinical approaches
  • Experience with anxiety, depression, ADHD, behavioral concerns, trauma, family transitions, or school-related challenges is relevant
  • Ability to provide approximately 25 completed sessions per week for full-time status
  • Ability to provide some after-school appointment availability
  • Ability to provide in-person services in Libertyville
  • Willingness to participate in team meetings, consultation, and professional development
