About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build and maintain relationships with referral partners across Union and Monmouth counties, including medical practices, psychiatrists, prescribers, schools, and community organizations
- Represent Ellie at community events, health fairs, coalition meetings, and municipal alliance meetings
- Plan and coordinate clinician-led workshops, presentations, and mental-health awareness activities
- Track contacts, touchpoints, and referral activity in an outreach pipeline
- Report on outreach performance and what is working
- Coordinate with the clinic director and marketing efforts to maintain consistent outreach, advertising, and website messaging
- Coordinate local press and publicity opportunities
- Keep referral partners informed about availability, services, and insurance
- Serve as Ellie's community-facing representative to make the organization a trusted therapy resource
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2+ years in community outreach, business development, provider relations, or a similar relationship-driven role
- Healthcare or behavioral health experience is a plus
- Organized and self-directed; able to manage own calendar and outreach pipeline
- Clear, warm communication skills in person, on the phone, and in writing
- Genuine interest in mental health and reducing stigma around getting help
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license
- Regular travel between Cranford, Wall Township, New Providence, and surrounding towns
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public health, social work, or a related field preferred; relevant experience counts
