About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assess mental health functioning, diagnose, create and implement treatment plans and treatment plan reviews
  • Complete ongoing documentation and case notes according to company policy
  • Utilize creative and personalized interventions to help clients achieve and exceed their goals
  • Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session per company guidelines and protocol
  • Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed
  • Actively participate in community outreach and referral partnership development to help build practice awareness
  • Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings
  • Opportunity to supervise other clinicians for fully licensed therapists
  • Focus on providing world-class mental health services while Ellie handles marketing, referrals, scheduling, client/therapist matching, insurance contracting, billing, and collections

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A master’s degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university
  • Massachusetts clinical licensure (LICSW, LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, PsyD, PhD, etc.) or be on the path to licensure; pre-licensed candidates are welcome
  • Experience with completing assessments, treatment plans and clinical case notes
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner
  • Proficient in the use of Office 365 and Electronic Health Record systems; Valant experience is a plus
  • For full-time status clinicians, maintain a caseload of a minimum of 25 client visits per week
