About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate and complete application projects
- Identify and coordinate improvement opportunities, enhancements, and redesign to accomplish greater efficiency
- Provide advanced-level support and support other analysts as needed
- Perform application implementation through analysis, design, testing, and evaluation
- Collaborate with clinical operations staff and department leaders to identify and prioritize areas of need
- Perform or participate in systems workflow analysis and evaluation to facilitate process re-engineering
- Participate in process design and development for new applications and enhancements to existing systems
- Develop system test plans, create test data, and evaluate results with user departments and others
- Evaluate, test, and present models with design alternatives to meet department workflow requirements
- Promote technology to enhance patient care through education, role modeling, quality improvement, and program development
- Provide operational ITS systems support and troubleshoot applications
- Provide troubleshooting and engage appropriate resources to resolve problems
- Provide consultative services to users and the implementation team regarding workflow impacts
Requirements
What you’ll need- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing required
- Bachelor’s degree is Required
- Current NH licensure as a Registered Nurse
- Vendor required certification in good standing (or proficiency if vendor accepts) for applications/modules employee is assigned to support
- If not currently certified (or proficient), employee will have 6 months from their DOH (Date of Hire) or DOT (Date of Transfer) into a position that requires certification (proficiency)
- Minimum of 5 years clinical experience
- Ability to work the 8-5 work shift
