About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Prepare computations of contractual allowance, charitable care, and bad debt for monthly financial statement presentation
Lead compilation of supporting documents, analysis, and input for governmental cost reports
Coordinate documentation for third-party and independent audit inquiries
Assist in maintaining software programs used for cost reports, financial modeling, and revenue and reimbursement information
Participate in the annual operating budget process
Prepare computations of third-party estimates and final settlements for balance sheet presentation
Extract and summarize complex transactional data from the clinical documentation platform for revenue and reimbursement analysis
Perform other duties as assigned
Report to the Revenue & Reimbursement Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in related field required; an additional four (4) years of experience can be substituted for the required degree
Minimum of three (3) years of healthcare reimbursement experience required
Healthcare experience preferred
Knowledge of healthcare revenue and reimbursement
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
End user experience with one or more of: Kodiak, Epic, HFS, and/or Workday
Ability to take initiative and work independently
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to participate constructively in meetings
Ability to work with interruptions
