About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Install, configure, operate, and maintain Epic Electronic Health Record Service, Client Application, and Web Application Servers
  • Perform setup and configuration, proactive monitoring, and maintenance of assigned systems and application delivery technology
  • Provide customer service to the end user community via telephone, electronic communications, or in person
  • Assist in implementation, configuration, and deployment of server/system infrastructure
  • Support physical and virtual environments across Microsoft and Linux platforms
  • Assist in supporting VMware infrastructure, including ongoing administration of the enterprise environment
  • Coordinate with departmental and organizational resources to install and maintain line of business applications for assigned systems

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Information Technology, related field, or equivalent combination of education and 3-5 years relevant experience, Required
  • Vendor required certification in good standing (or proficiency if vendor accepts) for applications/modules employee is assigned to support, Required
  • If not currently certified (or proficient), employee will have 6 months from their DOH (Date of Hire) or DOT (Date of Transfer) into a position that requires certification (proficiency)
  • 3-5 years of experience supporting server/storage infrastructure technologies, Required
  • Experience supporting physical and virtual environments across Microsoft and Linux platforms
  • Experience supporting VMware infrastructure
  • Ability to provide timely and professional customer service via telephone, electronic communications, or in person
  • Work shift: 8am - 5pm
