About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver Business Systems Consulting services under Elliott Davis’ Digital Practice
- Support client engagements involving people, daily processes, and technology
- Evaluate and improve clients’ business systems technology stacks
- Collaborate with growth leaders on business development, client meetings, opportunities, proposals, and presentations
- Maintain existing customer relationships and renew and expand services
- Ensure services are delivered on-time and on-budget
- Evaluate new and derivative service offerings with the BSC Practice Leader
- Attract, develop, invest in, and motivate talent
- Establish relationships with systems, product, and service suppliers
- Attend client and networking events
- Consult on complex technology ecosystem structures
- Oversee ERP and restructuring implementation projects
- Guide clients on technology and process improvement strategies
- Lead analysts and ensure rigor in their work while engaging directly with clients
- Review analysis reports and translate findings into actionable recommendations
- Advise clients on business process best practices
- Review staff work and provide project sign-off
- Prepare scopes of work, proposals, and client engagement letters
- Schedule department workflow, manage client billing, and maintain quality control
- Lead employee performance and provide feedback
- Perform other duties within the scope of the practice
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Accounting, Business Management, Information Systems (or related discipline) required
- 15+ years of experience in Business Systems and ERP Implementation Consulting
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to all levels within an organization including board level
- Experience building new products and services
- Experience working in multiple industries
- Experience working across multiple ERP systems
- Deep knowledge of ERP systems, 3rd party applications and integrations across technology ecosystems
- Strong financial acumen
- Experience in contract development, key legal principles, and client negotiations
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to take full ownership of client deadlines and needs, including working necessary hours to meet client deadlines
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Prior professional services experience (preferred but not required)
- ERP or related systems certifications (preferred but not required)
- Master’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (preferred but not required)
