About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with the Tax Operations Leader, IT, and Tax professionals to drive operational excellence across the practice
  • Collaborate with operational leader on Tax technology initiatives and maintain the Tax technology roadmap
  • Support the intake and portfolio process to identify, prioritize, and advocate for technology investments
  • Translate business needs into actionable technology initiatives via business cases
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and improve Consulting operational processes
  • Drive standard operating procedures and process documentation, including visual workflows
  • Drive adoption of practice technologies
  • Measure and communicate utilization, business outcomes, and value realization from technology investments
  • Engage in all phases of technology and process implementation, including post-implementation support
  • Lead change management efforts for new processes and technology implementations
  • Develop training materials and user adoption programs
  • Conduct workshops and training sessions for Consulting professionals and support teams
  • Serve as the primary operational liaison between Consulting Operations Leader, IT, and external vendors
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders to understand operational challenges and prioritize improvement initiatives
  • Lead technology pilot programs by coordinating testing, measuring business impact, gathering stakeholder feedback, and developing recommendations for implementation and broader adoption
  • Coordinate with external vendors on product enhancements and implementation initiatives
  • Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the role and practice

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, information systems, technology, or a related field required
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in a public accounting environment, at least one of which has been spent at Elliott Davis
  • Manager preferred
  • Strong understanding of practice line
  • Fundamental knowledge of technology
  • Understanding of project management methodologies and change management strategies
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Strong ability to lead cross-functional initiatives through influence, collaboration, and relationship building
