Technology Business Manager

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborate with the Consulting Operations Leader on Consulting technology initiatives and maintain the Consulting technology roadmap
- Support the intake and portfolio process to identify, prioritize, and advocate for technology investments supporting business objectives
- Translate business needs into actionable technology initiatives through business cases
- Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and improve Consulting operational processes
- Drive standard operating procedures and process documentation, including visual workflows
- Drive adoption of practice technologies
- Measure and communicate utilization, business outcomes, and value realization from technology investments
- Engage in all phases of technology and process implementation, including post-implementation support
- Lead change management efforts for new processes and technology implementations
- Develop training materials and user adoption programs
- Conduct workshops and training sessions for Consulting professionals and support teams
- Serve as the primary operational liaison between the Consulting Operations Leader, IT, and external vendors
- Build relationships with key stakeholders to understand operational challenges and prioritize improvement initiatives
- Lead technology pilot programs by coordinating testing, measuring business impact, gathering stakeholder feedback, and developing implementation recommendations
- Coordinate with external vendors on product enhancements and implementation initiatives
- Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the role and practice
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, information systems, technology, or a related field required
- Minimum of three years’ experience in a public accounting environment, at least one of which has been spent at Elliott Davis
- Manager preferred
- Strong understanding of practice line
- Fundamental knowledge of technology
- Understanding of project management methodologies and change management strategies
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Strong ability to lead cross-functional initiatives through influence, collaboration, and relationship building
