  • Mentor and upskill engineers and champion engineering best practices
  • Build data engineering solutions powering Elliptic’s blockchain analytics and intelligence products
  • Help deliver features that fight financial crime and increase transparency in the crypto space

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Hands-on production experience with Scala and functional programming
  • Ability to design, build, and maintain distributed data systems in a cloud-based environment
  • Hands-on experience with big data frameworks such as Spark or Databricks
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • Judgement to balance scalability, performance, and maintainability
  • Experience with data modelling and workflow orchestration
  • Experience in stream processing frameworks and event-driven architecture is a bonus
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) is a bonus
  • Experience working in containerised environments (Docker, Kubernetes) is a bonus
  • Interest in AI-driven tooling for engineering workflows is a bonus
  • Interest in crypto and blockchain technologies is a bonus
  • Ability to work with AI and agentic systems; ‘Adoptive’ AI fluency
