About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct technology monitoring and literature reviews on water electrolysis, biomass gasification, methanol synthesis, and SAF production
- Model processes using simulation software such as ProSim
- Develop and improve modeling, calculation, and analysis tools in Excel, with potential support from AI
- Document and consolidate acquired knowledge by preparing technical notes and reports
- Contribute to the assessment of synthesis pathways, process modeling, and process evaluation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Engineering student or specialized master's student in chemical engineering / process engineering (IFP School)
- Initial experience in process engineering, industry, or energy (internship or academic project)
- Strong process simulation skills (HYSYS, ProSim, or equivalent)
- General knowledge of equipment design
- Strong interest in industrial technologies and energy processes
- Fluent in French and English required
- Autonomous, rigorous, and curious
- Comfortable working in complex industrial environments and multidisciplinary teams
