About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Transition applications to Kubernetes and drive migration to the cloud
Partner with development teams on production scaling, dependency upgrades, security patches, and performance improvements
Build self-service tooling for routine operations
Design, develop, and maintain reusable CI/CD pipelines for automated, secure, and scalable delivery
Instrument services and infrastructure with metrics, dashboards, and actionable alerting using Prometheus and Grafana
Manage metric collection and cost
Configure and troubleshoot load balancing, service networking, and connectivity across services
Investigate and resolve production incidents during working hours
Trace issues across application, network, and infrastructure layers
Contribute to postmortems and permanent fixes
Identify repetitive issues or tasks and implement permanent solutions
Define and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code
Administer Linux systems underlying container and cloud environments
Document infrastructure configurations, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of experience in DevOps or similar roles
Solid Linux administration skills
Very good knowledge of cloud environments, containers, and container orchestration solutions, including Kubernetes
Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider; AWS or Tencent preferred, with GCP/Azure experience transferable
Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code
Solid understanding of networking concepts, operating systems, automation, distributed computing, high availability, and security best practices
Practical production experience with monitoring and logging, including Prometheus and Grafana or equivalents
Relevant certifications such as CKA, CKAD, or equivalent cloud certifications are a plus
