About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Administration, user support, and ensuring the availability of IT systems and infrastructure
- Administration of the internal Active Directory environment
- Integration, continuous development, and optimization of existing systems
- Documentation and logging of systems and optimizations
- Execution and support of internal and external IT projects
- Coordination of collaboration with external service providers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed vocational training in IT, e.g., as an IT specialist or IT systems administrator, or a degree in computer science
- Several years of experience supporting Microsoft operating systems (client and server), networks, and Office applications
- Proficiency with Citrix, virtualization, Microsoft Exchange and SQL Server, data security, and current IT developments
- Extensive experience with routers and technologies including DNS, VPN, WLAN, VLAN, firewalls, and NAT
- Knowledge of IT security
- Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate on an equal footing
- Strong service orientation and employee focus
- Excellent teamworking skills
- Very good written and spoken German
- Good technical English
