About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform budget uploads, payment schedule updates, and project task uploads in relevant systems
- Support project revenue recognition, forecasting, and budgeting activities
- Assist with project billing and milestone tracking
- Support monitoring of unbilled/unearned revenue and customer advances
- Assist with month-end activities, reconciliations, and journal entries
- Support Budget vs. Actual and Forecast vs. Actual variance analysis
- Maintain accurate project financial data and documentation
- Prepare basic financial reports and analysis
- Coordinate with Project Managers and Finance teams on project financial activities
- Follow established Project Finance processes and controls
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1 year of experience
- Educational background in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related fields
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of project finance concepts, cost tracking, and financial reporting
