About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as a finance business partner to Sales, Business Development, and Marketing teams
- Prepare monthly commercial review packs
- Track and analyze BD metrics including win rate, strike rate, and pipeline
- Track and analyze selling costs, including BD team costs and Marketing expenses
- Calculate BD bonuses
- Maintain and optimize the commercial dashboard
- Work with IT to resolve dashboard errors when needed
- Collaborate with the BD team to improve data quality
- Lead commercial budgeting, rolling forecasts, and strategic planning
- Analyze historical data and conduct scenario and sensitivity financial analysis
- Perform profitability analysis by customer, country, and therapeutic area
- Participate in group-wide budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, and management reporting
- Report to the Head of FP&A and work with senior executives to generate business insights
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field required
- 211 university or Big 4 background preferred
- Over 3 years of work experience
- Commercial finance experience preferred
- Prior experience in a regulated environment such as a CRO, pharmaceutical, or life sciences organization highly desirable
- Experience working in a global, hybrid work environment
- Proficiency in financial systems
- Familiarity with Salesforce preferred
- Exposure to reporting tools
- Advanced Excel skills essential
- English as a working language
