About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform deep-dive analysis of transactional data to identify trends, issues, and optimization opportunities
Systematically identify opportunities to improve payment acceptance rates
Develop and maintain automated merchant reporting and monitoring based on large datasets
Translate complex data into actionable, data-backed insights to support internal business decisions
Create and utilize AWS QuickSight Agents for automated and recurring reporting
Identify patterns, performance drivers, anomalies, and improvement opportunities with statistical analysis tools
Collaborate with internal teams and provide analytical support for data-driven decision-making

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent proven professional experience
2+ years of experience in a data analytics role within the payments, fintech, or financial services sector
Some experience with BI Tools with AI components, Python or R for statistical analysis and modelling, automatic report creation
Advanced proficiency in Excel
SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
Understanding of payment flows (authorization, settlement, chargebacks, recurring payments, etc.) and a foundational technical understanding of the payments ecosystem
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
CV in English
