About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Structure and harmonize QA practices for the Millenium ERP
- Ensure documentation is reliable and optimize the testing strategy
- Prepare an initial assessment to build the overall strategy
- Develop a quality strategy suited to a complex ERP and prioritize actions based on risk, user impact, and expected benefits
- Define common standards with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, QA, SRE, and Support
- Clarify business needs and rules during the scoping phase using a Specification by Example approach
- Incorporate certification and compliance requirements into the quality strategy
- Combine formal testing, exploratory testing, automation, and AI-powered use cases
- Lead change management across teams and support the adoption of quality practices
- Present results, risks, and decisions required to senior management and the Executive Committee
- Co-develop the automation roadmap with AQAs and oversee test reliability
- Lead AI experimentation for scenario generation and ticket analysis
- Build and manage the functional testing team, including recruitment, onboarding, workload planning, and skills development
- Support AQAs with objectives, priorities, feedback, and professional development
- Bring functional and technical profiles together around a shared quality vision
- Structure test plans covering end-to-end user journeys, edge cases, and user errors
- Organize testing and regression testing campaigns and track defects through resolution
- Consolidate validation evidence, open defects, and residual risks
- Provide a well-supported quality assessment to inform go-live decisions
- Define deployment controls with developers and SREs, including success criteria, post-production checks, and rollback plans
- Analyze field feedback, tickets, and recurring incidents to define preventive actions
- Ensure user documentation is clear, up to date, and useful
Requirements
What you’ll need- Senior experience leading quality for business management software or complex ERPs within a SaaS company
- Proven experience managing teams and supervising both functional and technical professionals
- Experience structuring an end-to-end quality approach
- Strong command of functional testing, regression strategies, and release validation
- Ability to formalize precise, actionable test plans
- Practical experience with real-world usage and user documentation
- Ability to connect business rules, user experience, and quality decisions
- Ability to collaborate with Support, R&D, and Product leadership
- Understanding of automation challenges and AI applications for testing and ticket analysis
- Technical background enabling effective collaboration with AQAs and development teams
- Experience with one or more key standards and regulations relevant to SaaS companies in Europe and the United States, including SOC 2, ISO/IEC 27001, ISO 9001, GDPR, PCI DSS, HIPAA, NIS2, or the EU AI Act
- Awareness of application security, including OWASP, SAST/DAST/SCA integrated into CI/CD, and penetration test coordination
- Hands-on experience with back-end and front-end test automation tools, particularly Playwright
- Hands-on experience with performance monitoring tools, particularly Dynatrace or an equivalent
- Fluency in written and spoken English is essential
- Experience with Jira and Confluence in an Agile environment is a plus
- Knowledge of the real estate sector or accounting processes is a plus
- Experience managing offshore teams is a plus
