About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Operate concrete batch plant equipment to produce concrete
- Accurately batch cement, aggregates, water, and admixtures
- Monitor production to ensure consistent output
- Perform daily plant inspections and routine maintenance
- Maintain proper material inventory levels
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and company standards
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
- Keep plant and work area clean and organized
- Assist with setup, tear down, and relocation of portable plants as needed
- Travel frequently between Emery Sapp & Sons concrete plants throughout Missouri, Kansas, and Arkansas
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred
- 2+ years of experience in concrete plant operations preferred
- Knowledge of plant equipment and components
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with DOT/public works projects is a plus
- Willingness to travel extensively between plants in Missouri, Kansas, and Arkansas
- Ability to work away from home and stay overnight as needed
- Ability to follow safety procedures and wear required PPE
