About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Guide clients from the initial business question through to implementation
Depending on the project and your experience, work as a Business Analyst, Requirements Engineer, Scrum Master, or in PMO
Take on responsibility as a (sub-)project manager or Product Owner as your career develops
Analyze processes in banking, asset management, and securities custody, and develop recommendations for improvement
Translate business questions into clear concepts and concrete requirements, and align them with business departments and IT
Help shape digital products and onboarding processes
Further develop platforms and interfaces
Work on data and AI initiatives, improve data quality, and identify opportunities for automation
Support clients in implementing regulatory requirements in processes and systems
Take responsibility for work packages
Conduct workshops
Support testing and the rollout of new solutions
Help develop consulting services, methodologies, and specialist publications
Contribute your expertise to client discussions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed degree in business administration, business informatics, computer science, or a comparable field, or an equivalent professional qualification
Initial or several years of professional experience in banking or asset management
Experience in an in-house role at a financial institution or in consulting projects for banks, asset managers, or other financial services providers
Knowledge of at least one of the following areas: securities custody, investment operations, digital platforms, data management, or project management
Experience with functional testing, including creating test cases, executing tests, or documenting and tracking defects
Ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new topics, recognize interdependencies, and explain complex matters clearly
Independent working style combined with effective collaboration and coordination within the team
Very good German language skills
Good English language skills
Willingness to work on-site at client locations depending on the project
Experience with Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence, as well as ALM Octane, is a plus
Knowledge of BPMN, SQL, or Power BI is an additional advantage
Certifications in Scrum, PRINCE2, Requirements Engineering, or software testing are desirable, such as ISTQB CTFL or ISTQB CT-AcT
