About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Turn real accident reports into short safety-training videos, typically around two minutes
- Determine what happened and why from customer accident reports and clarify uncertainties with customers
- Convert safety procedures into clear, step-by-step videos for new hires
- Create realistic scenes using AI image and video tools
- Ensure machines, safety equipment, worker appearance, and movements remain accurate and consistent
- Identify AI-generated errors and provide precise correction instructions
- Use Akdo's video editor daily and provide direct feedback on slow, clunky, or missing functionality
- Test new product features before customers do
- Create demo videos for CEO Max, often on short notice
- Work with the team on customer projects
- Participate in an intro call, practical challenge, and deep-dive interview
Requirements
What you’ll need- Prior video editing experience in any tool, such as Premiere, DaVinci, or CapCut
- Consistent, detailed results using AI image or video tools, demonstrated with examples
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inaccuracies in AI-generated content
- Ability to work with fast turnarounds and changing priorities, or ask clarifying questions
- Ability to understand things quickly and think independently
- Excellent English
- German is a plus
- Availability to work full-time for 6 months
- Background in communications, media, journalism, psychology, design, film, or another craft-focused field is a plus, not required
- Application must include a link to 1–3 edited videos
- Must complete a remote 45-minute challenge involving an accident report storyboard and key visuals
