About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist Empower Personal Wealth investment clients with financial matters, particularly Premier account and brokerage account clients
  • Serve as primary point of contact for an assigned book of Investment Services clients with individual client AUM of $100k–$250k
  • Provide high-level service to retain assets under management and garner additional assets through communication, education, and responsiveness
  • Provide proactive and reactive relationship management via phone and email
  • Act as liaison between clients and internal groups/departments
  • Discuss portfolio, market, and economic topics
  • Provide holistic financial planning on retirement planning, savings strategies, education planning, and related subjects
  • Collaborate with financial planning specialists on complex planning issues and comprehensive financial plans
  • Coordinate with operational teams on client-related administrative issues
  • Drive client satisfaction, retention, and enrollment in additional financial products

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, finance, or related field
  • 4+ years financial services experience with a proven track record of successful relationship building in a business setting
  • High-level knowledge of current investment products and industry services
  • Proven track record in relationship management and customer satisfaction
  • CURRENT FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 registrations required
  • FINRA fingerprinting required upon hire
  • 2–4 years of experience demonstrating the ability to reach set performance goals
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to compare and contrast the benefits and suitability of different investment options and products
  • Excellent operational and organizational skills, with the ability to efficiently multi-task within a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills, team-oriented, and collaborative
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship is unavailable, including CPT/OPT
  • Reliable high-speed internet with a wired connection and a minimally disruptive home workspace for remote work
