About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Administer, configure, maintain, and support the SAP Ariba platform
  • Serve as a lead subject-matter expert and escalation point for buying and invoicing activities
  • Evaluate existing processes and system functionality
  • Translate business requirements into functional documentation for process improvements, integrations, and analytics
  • Develop process scenarios and test scripts for upgrades, implementations, and daily business needs
  • Coordinate upgrades, releases, testing, regression testing, and production deployments
  • Serve on the Change Advisory Board for Ariba module changes and enhancements
  • Lead P2P business system administration and test management
  • Manage workflow activation and change monitoring
  • Track defects and drive resolution of P2P issues
  • Identify technical resources and support continuous process and system improvement
  • Provide technical support, user guidance, training, and documentation
  • Liaise between IT and business units on configuration, workflow, and data integration
  • Identify opportunities for process simplification, automation, and improved user experience
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, security requirements, finance policies, and audit standards
  • Serve as primary contact with SAP Ariba support and external implementation or support partners
  • Present technical topics in staff meetings
  • Perform other assigned duties and technical projects

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • Ten years of relevant experience, including procurement, system and customer support
  • Must have SAP Ariba administration experience
  • Ariba knowledge – P2P, Business System Admin, SLP modules, along with parts of Sourcing, Contracts and Supplier Risk modules
  • Must understand accounting principles
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Effective verbal and written communication with all customer and management levels
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including communicating technical information to non-technical stakeholders
  • Resourceful and creative problem-solving ability
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; no employment visa sponsorship or takeover of sponsorship, including CPT/OPT
  • Reliable high-speed internet with a wired connection and a minimally disruptive home workspace for remote work
