About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct U.S. sector and industry research, emphasizing valuations and scenario analysis of company and industry fundamentals, including earnings, revenue, and cash flow
  • Conduct macroeconomic and financial market research
  • Contribute to quarterly and annual Economic and Market Outlooks
  • Support management of a separately managed account through research, analysis, and insights on portfolio positioning and performance
  • Conduct ad hoc economic, market, sector, and industry research for media, conferences, and client needs
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop research-driven content for internal and external audiences
  • Provide market perspectives to financial media, clients, and the general public

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree required; degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field strongly preferred
  • 5 years of relevant experience in investment research, economic research, equity research, market strategy, asset management, or a related field
  • Current CFA designation strongly preferred; or progress toward completing CFA, with Level I or Level II passed
  • Proficiency with Bloomberg (BBG)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Ability to develop compelling data visualizations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated persistence, creativity, and intellectual curiosity
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship is unavailable, including CPT/OPT
  • Reliable high-speed internet with a wired connection and suitable home workspace for hybrid work
