About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support existing Empower clients with all aspects of their investment needs
  • Respond to operational inquiries regarding trading, asset movement, account opening and asset consolidation
  • Handle client trading of Equity, ETF, Mutual Fund, Options and Fixed Income securities
  • Service new and existing client needs via inbound calls
  • Engage customers in an Investment Recommendation Conversation
  • Deliver an efficient and responsive client experience by taking ownership, providing accurate information and initiating proactive follow-up
  • Demonstrate knowledge of brokerage transaction and regulatory requirements, including Corporate Actions, Exchange Rules, Suitability and Tax Implications
  • Uncover leads and opportunities to hand off to the Retirement Advisor Team and drive new business opportunities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 2+ years of financial customer service experience
  • Strong customer service background with a firm understanding of the diverse operational and investment needs of customers
  • Knowledge of current financial markets and retirement account operations
  • FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 required
  • FINRA fingerprinting
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Strong technological skills and ability to multi-task across systems
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship, including CPT/OPT, is unavailable
  • Must be available to work the Monday–Friday schedule corresponding to the applicable time zone
  • Reliable high-speed internet with a wired connection and a suitable home workspace; required connectivity must be fiber, cable or DSL
