About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver a personalized, high-touch client experience for Empower Private Clients with $5M+ in assets under management
- Support onboarding, financial planning, and investment strategy engagements
- Lead clients through planning milestones and campaign-driven outreach
- Manage ongoing communications and serve as a consistent point of contact
- Identify planning opportunities using client conversations and data insights
- Lead information gathering for timely recommendations
- Provide tailored financial planning independently or with the practice team
- Support implementation and monitoring of investment strategies aligned with client objectives and risk profiles
- Monitor market developments, economic conditions, and regulatory changes
- Partner with Portfolio Management on account customization, client requests, and relationship clearance
- Participate in monthly audit reviews and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance and operational excellence
- Attend and contribute to in-person client meetings as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor Degree in Business or related discipline or equivalent experience
- 7+ years related work experience in financial services and client experience
- FINRA Series 65 required
- FINRA fingerprinting required
- CFP strongly preferred
- Sufficient knowledge of wealth management strategies, financial planning, tax and income optimization, and estate planning
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, presentation, and situational-awareness skills
- Ability to manage many time-sensitive tasks simultaneously
- Proven ability to deliver multi-product goals and analyze and present investment portfolios to clients
- Proficient in or able to quickly learn Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Salesforce, NetX360, and proprietary recordkeeping systems
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship is unavailable
- Reliable high-speed internet with a wired connection and an adequately equipped home workspace
