About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure high standards of product quality through rigorous testing and analysis
- Develop and implement quality control systems
- Conduct inspections and identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues
- Ensure compliance with industry standards
- Comprehend project goals and requirements and identify gaps, omissions, testing challenges, and impediments
- Drive automation initiatives
- Work closely with development and business teams to communicate problem impacts and understand business requirements

- Establish collaborative relationships with other teams during project test phases

Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience
- 4 to 6 years of software testing experience
- Strong QA background in manual/functional testing
- Expertise in scripting languages and logical implementations
- Hands-on experience in automation, frameworks, and tools
- Exposure to security and performance testing preferred
- Ability to drive automation initiatives
- Strong interpersonal and people management skills
- Proven ability to manage conflicts, increase productivity, hire, and grow talent
- Experience working closely with development and business teams
- Good knowledge of SQL/Oracle queries
- Experience preparing test plan and strategy documents
- Ability to gather and understand requirements
- Experience writing test cases
- Experience in requirements gathering
- Experience in web services testing
- Understanding of formal software test design techniques
- Ability to follow QA processes and standards
- Experience in functional, end-to-end, regression, and smoke testing
- Experience developing and maintaining test cases and reporting test results
- Experience creating testing defect reports and tracking them to resolution in a defect management tool
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong self-motivation, organization, attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills
