About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Deliver on-site and virtual education and enrollment presentations to new and existing defined contribution 401(k), 403(b), and/or Government clients
  • Use Empower’s technology and tools to drive results and help employees pursue successful retirement outcomes
  • Develop and facilitate communication and education strategies through one-on-one virtual and on-site group meetings
  • Drive participants toward measurable actions, including plan enrollment, deferral increases, and rollovers from previous plans
  • Achieve business results and facilitate impactful conversations while meeting service level agreements
  • Complete reporting requirements, including logging meetings, attendees and outcomes in appropriate systems
  • Build relationships with key contacts, plan sponsor representatives and internal stakeholders
  • Manage meeting schedules, including travel booking
  • Provide feedback to local relationship managers on communication materials and strategies
  • Assist in identifying alternative communication approaches
  • Attend client meetings with other service team members
  • Participate in final presentations for new prospects when required by territory demands

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must reside within the assigned territory
  • FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 registrations within corporate-established timelines required; current Series 6 and 63 preferred
  • FINRA fingerprinting required
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience considered in lieu of a degree
  • 2–4 years relevant financial services experience
  • Strong presentation skills required
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams required
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce preferred
  • Ability to calculate figures such as interest, proportions, percentages, and fractions required
  • Strategic thinker who can work independently
  • Strong relationship building and territory management skills
  • Practical experience providing high-level, consultative client interactions preferred
  • Basic knowledge of defined contribution plans preferred
  • Bilingual preferred
  • Reliable high-speed internet with a wired connection and an appropriate home workspace for remote work
  • Ability to move and set up portable computer equipment, forms and brochures, tables and booths
  • Ability to travel to client meetings, including occasional overnight travel
  • Personal vehicle, taxi, rideshare and/or public transit may be required for client travel
