About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Deliver on-site and virtual education and enrollment presentations to new and existing defined contribution plan participants
  • Develop and facilitate communication and education strategies through one-on-one virtual and on-site group meetings
  • Drive participant actions including plan enrollment, deferral increases, and rollovers
  • Achieve business results and meet service level agreements
  • Complete reporting requirements, including logging meetings, attendees and outcomes
  • Build relationships with key contacts, plan sponsor representatives and internal stakeholders
  • Manage meeting schedules and travel booking
  • Provide feedback to relationship managers on communication materials and strategies
  • Attend client meetings with service team members
  • Participate in final presentations for new prospects as needed
  • Work with public employees in Pasadena and northern Orange County
  • Travel overnight several times per month to Northern California and Washington, approximately 25%

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience considered in lieu of a degree
  • 2–4 years relevant financial services experience
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams
  • Strong relationship building and territory management skills
  • FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 registrations within established timelines required
  • FINRA fingerprinting required
  • Ability to calculate figures such as interest, proportions, percentages, and fractions
  • Strategic thinker who can work independently
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; no employment visa sponsorship, including CPT/OPT
  • Reliable high-speed internet with a wired connection and suitable home workspace for remote/hybrid work
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce preferred
  • Practical experience providing high-level, consultative client interactions preferred
  • Basic knowledge of defined contribution plans preferred
