About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver actionable insights supporting strategic and operational decision-making across Canada Operations
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data models for performance monitoring and business visibility
- Manage and optimize data pipelines for timely, accurate, and consistent data delivery
- Create and maintain process guides, data dictionaries, and technical references
- Translate business needs into data and analytics requirements
- Collaborate with business partners and senior leaders to align analytics outputs with priorities and goals
- Support the full analytics lifecycle from intake and ideation through implementation and delivery
- Contribute to new analytics initiatives
- Present findings and recommendations clearly and visually to stakeholders at various levels
- Collaborate with teams to validate requirements and ensure high-quality deliverables
- Provide training and support to end-users or team members for new processes or system implementations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required
- An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may also be considered
- 3–5 years of experience in data analytics
- Strong experience with SQL and Python
- Experience with SQL Server databases
- Experience with Azure and Databricks
- Experience with Power BI and creating interactive dashboards
- Ability to write complex and efficient SQL and Python queries
- Experience extracting, integrating, and transforming data from multiple sources
- Ability to automate data pipelines
- Advanced skills in Power BI, data modeling, Power Query, and DAX
- Strong experience working with raw data and manipulating large datasets
- Subject matter expertise in data analytics and statistical modeling
- Polished communication and presentation skills for audiences including senior leadership
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with little to no documentation or instruction
- Ability to identify solutions to overcome obstacles
- Ability to learn and handle multiple priorities in a challenging work environment
- Experience within the Financial Services sector would be an asset
- Ability to work the stated IST or EST shift timings
