About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define and drive product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a significant area of the financial advisor experience
- Understand advisor workflows and supporting systems, data, and processes
- Identify opportunities for simplification, consolidation, automation, and productivity improvement
- Frame complex product opportunities and influence investment decisions
- Own and evolve a multi-horizon product roadmap
- Partner with engineering and architecture leaders on capabilities, constraints, dependencies, and tradeoffs
- Lead product discovery using advisor insights, behavioral and operational data, market research, and technical understanding
- Influence senior leaders and cross-functional partners
- Lead initiatives spanning product, engineering, operations, business, risk, compliance, and legal
- Manage cross-product and cross-team dependencies, risks, and tradeoffs
- Establish success measures and evaluate advisor outcomes, adoption, productivity, operational efficiency, and product performance
- Challenge existing processes, technology patterns, and assumptions
- Raise product management standards and strengthen product practices across the organization
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 3–5 years of product management or relevant experience
- Demonstrated ownership of complex technology products, platforms, or capabilities
- Exceptional product judgment and prioritization and investment decision-making ability
- Strong technical fluency in system interactions, data flows, integrations, APIs, dependencies, architecture considerations, and technical tradeoffs
- Experience establishing product vision and strategy and translating strategy into actionable roadmaps and measurable outcomes
- Experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives involving multiple teams, systems, stakeholders, and dependencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments and drive decisions
- Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication and storytelling skills
- Experience operating effectively in highly regulated or operationally complex environments
- Ability to mentor others and elevate product practices
