About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform routine credit reviews for rated and non-rated counterparties and recommend appropriate credit limits
  • Monitor credit exposure against approved limits and proactively request collateral when required
  • Prepare and distribute accurate and timely credit reports to appropriate Enbridge business units
  • Assist with execution and administration of new or amended financial assurances, including parental guarantees and letters of credit
  • Enter, maintain and file financial assurances, counterparty details and credit information in Enbridge’s system of record
  • Develop, maintain and continuously improve process documentation for material credit processes
  • Complete routine credit risk assignments and provide additional support as directed by Credit Risk Management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Related university degree
  • Up to 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Basic understanding of financial statement analysis and credit risk management principles
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, organize workload and meet tight deadlines
  • Continuous improvement mindset and interest in developing or implementing process improvements
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal business partners and contribute to a team-oriented environment
  • Finance-related designation such as CPA, CFA or MBA, or progress toward one, preferred
  • Final candidates may be required to undergo security screening, including a criminal records check
