  • Apply engineering principles to analyze technical information and develop practical, fit-for-purpose solutions
  • Build knowledge of Enbridge’s business, engineering methods, systems, and operating practices through hands-on assignments
  • Manage assigned work with increasing independence while seeking guidance and incorporating technical feedback
  • Collect, evaluate, document, and communicate technical facts to engineering colleagues, leaders, and project stakeholders
  • Support project engineering activities
  • Provide basic technical guidance to junior employees when required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university
  • Preference for a Civil or Mechanical engineering degree
  • 2–4 years of professional, intermediate-level engineering experience
  • Technically proficient in applying engineering theory, standardized practices, methods, and processes to increasingly complex assignments
  • Ability to manage priorities, complete high-quality work, and operate with increasing independence
  • Ability to build productive working relationships and communicate technical information clearly, concisely, and professionally
  • Ability to seek feedback, embrace new challenges, share knowledge, and provide basic guidance to junior employees
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without employment-based sponsorship now or in the future
  • Ability to travel and work throughout the United States
  • Valid driver’s license and responsible driving record required
  • Ability to meet stated physical requirements, including lifting objects up to 20 pounds and sitting at a computer for extended periods
  • Ability to meet stated mental requirements, including understanding instructions, analyzing complex problems, organizing work, completing reports, and communicating by telephone
