About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead regional security operations across Enbridge assets in Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, and Colorado
  • Oversee access control, guard force operations, security technology management, and facility security programs
  • Conduct security risk and vulnerability assessments
  • Recommend mitigation strategies and oversee implementation of security controls and countermeasures
  • Develop, maintain, and execute site security plans, emergency response procedures, and security management documentation
  • Manage security incidents, investigations, root cause analyses, threat responses, and crisis situations
  • Provide security recommendations to leadership
  • Partner with law enforcement, regulatory agencies, facility management, and other stakeholders
  • Deliver security awareness programs and training initiatives
  • Provide executive protection support and security guidance across the organization
  • Protect Enbridge’s people, assets, operations, and critical energy infrastructure

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent post-secondary education
  • 7–10 years of progressive security leadership experience
  • Experience in physical security, emergency response, security management, regulatory compliance, and program development
  • Military, law enforcement, corrections, or related experience
  • Knowledge of security risk and vulnerability assessments
  • Ability to apply security and regulatory requirements within critical infrastructure or energy environments
  • Experience managing guard force performance, security technologies, project initiatives, and multiple priorities
  • Ability to prepare executive-level reports and security documentation
  • Established law enforcement, intelligence, or security industry networks
  • Valid driver's license and responsible driving record
  • Successful completion of standard and enhanced background screenings
  • Ability to travel throughout the region and the United States, approximately 25%
  • Ability to perform stated physical requirements, including lifting objects up to 20 pounds and prolonged computer use
  • Ability to understand and apply oral and written instructions, solve complex problems, prioritize work, make decisions, complete forms and reports, and communicate by telephone
  • Professional certifications such as CPP or PSP and security clearances are advantageous
