About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate and support annual budgets and forecasts for Enbridge Inc. and its subsidiaries
  • Lead consolidation activities and prepare budgets and forecasts in accordance with U.S. GAAP
  • Validate Business Unit forecasts and review supporting working papers and journal entries for accuracy and completeness
  • Assess business changes, financial performance, trends, and key business drivers
  • Deliver data-driven analysis, actionable insights, and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Identify risks and opportunities and support enhanced business performance
  • Partner with Business Unit FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Risk, Corporate Strategy, and Internal Reporting teams
  • Develop executive-level reporting packages and presentation materials
  • Identify and implement FP&A process improvements through system capabilities, automation, standardization, and continuous improvement

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Related university degree with a CPA designation considered an asset
  • 6+ years of directly related experience in enterprise budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, or consolidation considered an asset
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills
  • Strong project management and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and initiatives in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and succinctly to varied audiences, including senior leadership
  • High proficiency with Excel, including Pivot Tables, Index/Match, VLOOKUP, and logical functions
  • Strong capabilities in PowerPoint and Power BI
  • Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP
  • Previous experience with financial consolidation processes considered an asset
  • Experience with Oracle EPBCS, Essbase, or comparable financial planning tools preferred
  • Final candidates may be required to undergo security screening, including a criminal records check
