About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform complex enterprise-wide credit reviews for rated and non-rated counterparties
  • Recommend appropriate credit limits for multiple Enbridge business units
  • Coordinate enterprise-wide credit limit approvals with the Credit team
  • Determine financial assurances required to support credit authorization
  • Monitor counterparty credit exposure against approved limits
  • Identify and request collateral when required
  • Execute, administer, and document new or amended financial assurances, including parental guarantees and letters of credit
  • Maintain accurate counterparty, credit, and financial assurance information in Enbridge systems of record
  • Develop and maintain process documentation
  • Support implementation of credit policies, procedures, and processes for measuring, monitoring, and controlling counterparty credit risk
  • Support credit-related SOX controls, audit requirements, reporting, and other Enterprise Risk initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Related university degree
  • 2 to 4 years of related experience
  • Sound technical understanding of financial statement analysis and credit risk management
  • Experience prioritizing work and improving or implementing processes to streamline and optimize activities
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with ability to manage multiple processes and competing priorities while meeting deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Finance-related designation such as CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred
  • Experience in energy marketing and trading credit preferred
  • Ability to undergo security screening, including a criminal records check, if required
