About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the Land Administration team while gaining practical experience in managing land data, mineral and royalty ownership, and contractual support
  • Maintain accurate land, ownership, and contractual information
  • Support lease and contract administration
  • Support mineral and royalty ownership analysis
  • Support compliance and data integrity
  • Research and resolve ownership, contract, and operational matters
  • Work closely with Land, Legal, Accounting, Operations, and other teams
  • Complete an assigned project and other responsibilities under the guidance of an experienced mentor

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Project management skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize work in a team environment
  • Self-starter with motivation to excel
  • Interest in learning land administration, ownership, lease and contract, or division order processes
  • Strategic and proactive problem solver
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to develop good working relationships with internal and external partners
  • Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience in Quorum Land Suite, Microsoft PowerBI and TIBCO Spotfire a plus
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Energy Management, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, with an interest in the energy industry
  • Must be enrolled as a full-time student through December 2027
  • Must be available May 17 - August 6, 2027
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
